For every charity that won't accept the money there will be 3 that do, that's the best they got?

Take his money or keep being treated like shit at the VA.

Their choice, not my problem.

Celebrating, Empowering and Uniting Post-9/11 Veterans

Do you really trust a group that celebrates 9/11?

Literally the worst charities are saying no. Is it any surprise? They want there to always be problems for veterans because it's the only thing that keeps them in business.

Navy vet in my office has nothing bad bad things to say about Wounded Warrior Project.

I don't know of anything bad about it either, except for the fact that it's a damn shame that the government that sent them overseas to get maimed in the first place doesn't provide enough for them upon coming home, and private charities relying on donations from the already struggling middle class have to make up the difference. Veterans and their families are the one group I think should be provided for cradle-to-grave. And we could, if the M.I.C. didn't waste so much money on endless wars to create more veterans in the first place. In all honesty I'm surprised the whole of the armed forces hasn't turned on this irresponsible government in an outright mutiny. Lining the coffers of corrupt senators by pilfering from soldiers' pensions was one of the factors in Rome collapsing. You'd think the country that models itself after the shining city on a hill would have learned from that mistake.

You'd be surprised at how many vets serve a few tours, find out what's really going on, and then come back only to realize that the country isn't even worth fighting for anymore.
