those socialists have to murder all of the socialists that are already in power... it's more like people really like their guns.
once they have installed their true and infallible version of socialism, you disarm the people, you cant actually keep them empowered, the people cant have the ability to overthrow your one and true version of socialism. you have to keep them powerless, economically subordinated, and slaving away to keep up with the influx of immigrating foreigners.

This is really most violent revolutions: seize power on the backs of the little people and the consolidate it on top of their graves. Most revolutionary governments constantly see enemies around every corner since very few of them have much claim to legitimacy other than sheer force of arms.
