If Rand was smart he'd hitch his wagon to Trump, attack the corrupt GOP establishment, and ride Trump's coattails to a future presidency. The truth is that no libertarian will ever get elected if amnesty gets passed
[–] Moonbat 1 point 21 points 22 points (+22|-1) ago (edited ago)
/sigh I just want to be happy right now and you ruined it.
[–] CowWithBeef 2 points 9 points 11 points (+11|-2) ago
It's pretty hard to sell Libertarianism to women so that whole right to vote thing probably killed it a long time ago.
[–] sp00kygh0st 0 points 12 points 12 points (+12|-0) ago
You're probably right. This is what the 2012 election would of looked like without the women's vote
[–] TheDude2 ago
Why do women love to be told what they can and can't do?
[–] Broc_Lia 1 point -1 points 0 points (+0|-1) ago
How do you figure? There were plenty of authoritarian presidents before general sufferage.
[–] ArchangelleShe 25 points 19 points 44 points (+44|-25) ago
Can you imagine a debate between these two? Randy Boy would disembowel the Trump.
[–] THE_Per_Bear 5 points 22 points 27 points (+27|-5) ago
I don't know... I mean, Paul didn't really defend himself all that much when Trump bullied him at the first debate
[–] Sciency 5 points 11 points 16 points (+16|-5) ago
He didn't counter attack, but I feel like his strategy is to take the high road. Well see how that plays out for him.
[–] luckyguy 3 points 9 points 12 points (+12|-3) ago (edited ago)
He needs a one on one. If he can back someone into a corner and is given an hour to let the audience see his opponent squirm that's the best show. Republican debates are like watching 11 greased pigs try to ram each other like goats.
[–] FriedFood100 2 points 0 points 2 points (+2|-2) ago
Right, kick ass. Rand talks like a fag, and his shit's all retarded. What I'd do, is just like... like... you know, like, you know what I mean, like...
[–] [deleted] 1 point 3 points 4 points (+4|-1) ago
[–] spaghettijesus 4 points 3 points 7 points (+7|-4) ago
Yeah, I mean, Rand can't even be bothered to show up to a debate.

I like Rand, but I don't think he will do what must be done. I don't think he's what we need right now. That being said, he may be what we need in 8 years. I think it would be better to have 8 years of Trump, then 8 years of Rand to give the impression of a pendulum swing, but really just maintaining sanity without regressing to full cuckdom. Rand is the kind of guy I'd like to have as my boss, but not the kind of guy I'd like to be in a foxhole with.

Are you sure? I could think of worse people to have in a warzone than a doctor.
[–] Oknatora 3 points 0 points 3 points (+3|-3) ago
Can't stump the Trump.

Typing is difficult
[–] blind-science 1 point 3 points 4 points (+4|-1) ago
both N and O are a long way from W on the keyboard...
[–] badbear 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
If this is anything like other AMAs, someone at reddit is responsible for typing his responses.
[–] Broc_Lia 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
And assuming she still works there, she's a completely incompetant diversity hire.
[–] demi_god_dylan 4 points 12 points 16 points (+16|-4) ago
Rand has pubes for hair, i'd hardly call that an improvement, the rest of it i'm ok with.
[–] pepepepepe ago
I think "marginally" would be a better word than "way".
[–] demi_god_dylan ago
Pardon?
[–] IamaRealEstateBroker 0 points 7 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago
How come that thread had almost 7 thousand upvotes and now has less than 5?
[–] [deleted] 0 points 12 points 12 points (+12|-0) ago
[–] IamaRealEstateBroker 0 points 9 points 9 points (+9|-0) ago
It somehow got over 3000 downvotes in less than an hour after being at over 7k upvotes.
[–] TheRealVladimirPutin 0 points 5 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago
Disagree re: hair.
[–] flope_de 0 points 4 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago
Take notice: He acknowledges Trump as the Republican frontrunner.
[–] dabork 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
No he doesn't, the guy who asked the question does.
[–] flope_de ago
He doesn't try to "correct" it, though. Not too long ago, everybody would have started the answer to a question like this with ridiculing Trump and stating how he supposedly had no chance of ever getting the candidacy.
[–] Drenki 3 points 4 points 7 points (+7|-3) ago
These are spitballs at best.
This is more like suckijg up.
