"The Sanders plan would require $1.38 trillion—trillion! with a T!—in additional federal spending every single year. That’s roughly 8 percent of total GDP. As a comparison, the official cost estimate for Obamacare—which almost didn’t pass over concerns about its price tag—when it was passed was about $900 billion over an entire decade.* Sanders is proposing to spend far more than that every single year."

Sounds like a discount. in 2013 we spent 17% of our GDP on healthcare. That would have been 2.4 trillion ---- TRILLION yes, also with a T.

That's why the article is being downvoted, not because it's critical of Bernie, but because it's kind of a dumb argument. you can shout about the letter T all you want, fact remains it saves America money.

Single payer would be affordable if we just simply shot all the hams and olds.

All posts critical of Bernie have been brigaded by downvoters. It's getting to be a serious problem of censorship.

There's not much you can do but let the community know about this. I'll be upvoting all stories critical of Bernie b/c of this.
