As if you needed anymore proof that the GOPe is against its base
[–] Crashmarik 2 points 34 points 36 points (+36|-2) ago
Not just the GOP both party's establishments are against the American People.
[–] Drenki 4 points 5 points 9 points (+9|-4) ago
It's not even that it's against it's base, it's just incompetent.
[–] ogeema 0 points 13 points 13 points (+13|-0) ago
No, not incompetent...CORRUPT
[–] Rommel79 1 point 20 points 21 points (+21|-1) ago
And Trump & Cruz's numbers go up.
[–] manapot 2 points 13 points 15 points (+15|-2) ago
Cruz is ineligible to hold office as he is not a natural born citizen. How is he still in the running?
[–] UnknownCitizen 0 points 7 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago
Because the definition of "Natural Born Citizen" is not as concrete as you might think legally. Additionally, it's not the courts who dictates who can run, it's the FEC, which is essentially beholdened to regulatory capture.

Probably for the same reason Hillary is still running.
[–] chodie 2 points 0 points 2 points (+2|-2) ago
He probably figures since Obama got away with it he can too.

This shit right here is why Trump is polling in the near 40's in a big ass republican field. Why? Hilary has 1 opponent. She's only a few points ahead on her side of the isle and she only has 1 opponent. Trump is polling at 39-41 and he's got so many opponents that they have to have two debates each time to hold them all. In a field this huge nearly 60% of the Republican polled are openly declared for the two guys who are telling the GOP to go fuck themselves.
I contend the problem isn't the base. The problem is the GOP. It should have been massively fucking evident during the Tea Party revolt. These shit heads aren't going to get it until some Trump or Cruz operative shows up to start picking out drapes for their offices.
Also, NPR took about 1.2 seconds to start running with this in every single news segment they could squeeze it into. What shit heal in a suit REALLY thought they were going to slip that by anyone?

Who would down vote this?! It's important information! This shows the Republicans being caught red handed. It's very very very important information. It shows that they clearly are trying to deceive the American people.

"...to protect our nation, defend our borders, offer a permanent and human solution to those who live in the shadows..."
um, am i only one seeing that that could imply a lot of reallly, horrible dark shit? because that is extremely vague.
[–] Tadddd ago (edited ago)
It is vague, but a few days back, someone posted a video of a 1980 Reagan - Bush debate and they both expressed a need for a proper immigration policy. One that didn't leave children and families who are already here without a way to work and receive education. Maybe if current policy makers expressed things more specifically, we wouldn't be stuck here wondering if they just mean outright amnesty. God forbid they be explicit and offend somebody! That might make people dislike the Republican party! Yet we're already over here saying fuck the Republicans, anyway. Weak, pandering oligarchs.
[–] 9-11 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
it wouldnt be neccessary to have huge amounts of immigration if it werent for the low birth rates... nobody is getting or staying married thanks to the state.
