What about the drug violence? What about the mother who spends money on drugs and drives through a crowd of people in Las Vegas with their 3 year old in the back seat?

Those things are already crimes. So is driving under the influence. The drugs themselves shouldn't be illegal, their irresponsible use should be.

The Gangs are caused by it being illegal and that's something a person that needs help would do

Clearly alcoholism is a crime and anyone caught possessing alcohol should be locked up.

That's ignoring the vast majority of people who use alcohol in moderation. Ask a police officer, probation officer or drug treatment counselor how many people can use crack, meth or heroin in moderation.

Drug violence? I'm not sure what Bernie thinks, but if you cut out the illegality of drugs you can stop the violence surrounding them.

Is this happening every day?
