Can you link when she says that? I don't speak the language and don't want to simply take your comment as fact without first verifying it myself

Some background info:

Small town in the Netherlands (Geldermalsen, 15k inhabitants) was having a city council meeting on the possible building of a refugee house for 1500 refugees. There was a protest outside that was legal and calm. However, around 20 hours last night, things got bad.

All politics aside. Wtf is the city council thinking. 1500 refugees for a city of 15k? Unless the refugees are already there and sleeping in the street, who would be like "yeah, i think we can handle a 10% population bump no prob."?

The Syrian crisis is NOT ABOUT REFUGEES. It's about setting up the environment that will further entrench political, religious and cultural turmoil that will be used as the excuse to further erode our fundamental human rights.

This fucking nightmare of a ride has just begun kids! Hang on.

Which is why we must put an end to it immediately. No more refugees ; none is too many.

Right up until we're not.

It's actually a good tactic on a micro-scale; make your enemy think you won't fight back so he lets his guard down before hitting your breaking point, then unleash hell. On the macro-scale it's a little more muddy as the particulars are less clearly defined.

I'd be interested in a rough summery of what was being said in that meeting, just to get more context on what the protesters were protesting, though I can pretty much guess.

Translation of what she's saying:

"My backwards culture and religion destroyed the land I come from and I now demand that European countries respect and implement those same poisonous ideas that ruined my country. I expect my retarded ideas to be respected above the rights of individuals and the traditions of Europeans..."

Then she is cut off by unreasonable people who think their rights are equal to hers.

Quick translation of the most important points:

Dutch lady: "It is terrible, that we need police protection in order to hold these meetings. But, whatever we may think of this situation. It is a necessity for us to meet. I request our 'guest' to start again with her story."

Alahu lady: "Good evening, I understand the feelings of the village. Sadly, the government has put this huge challenge upon us. It doesn't matter what my personal opinion is. My opinion isn't the reason why I've come here. I've come here to tell how I've experienced the last couple of weeks. I saw the peace, and brotherhood which I've experienced whole my life in this village change into a grim mood which you can all see outside. I saw my friends, acquaintances, family, get .... (unclear). Some people went so far that they broke friendships. In my experience, everyone should be able to give their own opinion. It doesn't matter, if you're for or against. My family also has differing opinions, yet we stick together.

Especially the fear from the elderly has shocked me greatly. During the conversations which I had with them, I've got the impression that they're especially fearful of the single men. But, As an employer I've had experience with many refugee men. ........... (incomprehensible because of the knocking noise). That's why I can talk out of my own experience and tell why my own fear of these men is a lot less."

They stop the meeting at this point, why; I'm not sure.

Nothing that some rope won't fix. The saddest thing is how many chances people have to turn away from a path that leads towards violence and war.
