What makes hitler a leftist? That aside, the important thing those three have in common is not leftism but authoritarianism. It's the authoritarians who kill people, not liberals. (no, progressives are not liberals)

I'd say the massive welfare state he established, his admiration for FDR's New Deal, his support for unions to the point where he made them a part of the government, and his abolition of private ownership anywhere other than on paper puts Hitler firmly on the left.
