The TPP benefits almost everybody except the average citizens who are royally screwed over
[–] jaceame 0 points 4 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago
Don't forget about the below average they might start dying. Can you think of a world where a corporation found that the safety laws and minimum wage are bad for business thus sued to remove it. Boy that's going to be great for free trade.

This is stretching it far too much to excuse Trump's stupidity.
China has to play by the same rules as the other 180+ countries that aren't part of the TPP. They still have to pay the same tariffs they currently do to get the materials to one of the 12 TPP countries. China doesn't benefit any more from this deal than say, Trinidad and Tobago.
[–] CarlosShyamalan 3 points 10 points 13 points (+13|-3) ago
Also the way he worded it (the TPP does not even adress Chinese currency manipulation) really does make it sound like he genuinely thought China was part of the deal...
[–] fightforthehive 1 point 5 points 6 points (+6|-1) ago
While it would be only 1 of 180+ countries outside of the TPP, China would account for 23% of the economic output of those nations, so they would most certainly benefit more than Trinidad and Tobago.

Trump is right on most issues.

He's wrong on the NSA spying. That makes him a non-starter.

Trump is right about the TPP, you have to respect his bluntness when discussing it

Hey, the multi-billionaire knows a little something about trade deals, who would have thought

Is Trump right when he says that Snowden is a Traitor and should be prosecuted? Is he right when he calls for more espionage on civillians and allied nations?
[–] Fahler 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
Good thing Hillary's got our back on those /s
[–] BoiseNTheHood 5 points 2 points 7 points (+7|-5) ago
There's a nuanced argument to be made that, because of the way he chose to leak the information, he committed treason. Is it absurd to think that he can be a whistleblower and a traitor at the same time?
Regardless, you know who else thinks Snowden is a traitor and should be prosecuted? You guessed it - Bernie Sanders.

You might as well try to flim-flam the Zim-zam.

He's always right?
So he was right when he called for banning assault weapons, or when he said we shouldn't? He was right when he called for a nationally socialized healthcare system, or when he said it was dumb? He was right when he said we have to accept Syrian refugees, or when he said we can't? He was right when he called for funding Planned Parenthood, or when he called for defunding? He was right when he called for cutting the military budget, or when he said we need to build it up? He was right when he called for the US attack ISIS, or when he said we shouldn't? He was right when he called for a flat tax, or when he changed his mind to a progressive tax system?
Can't wait to see you crying come primary season when America Dumps the Trump
