Fiorina almost destroyed HP (maybe she did, her terrible decisions are still reverberating through the company), and almost everyone she worked with despised her. She was incompetent, and a bitch on wheels. I know several people who worked with her directly, and there's not one that wouldn't be cheering if she dropped dead.

HP before her was a true Valley start-up. They had a work culture most new startups would be envious of. After her and Apothecker (sic?), HP has just turned into a Generic Large IT Corp (TM). There are still amazing people working there but the management is totally borked. They have truly lost their way. The only person to benefit from Fiorina's leadership was Fiorina herself.

She sounds like the Republican Party's Ellen Pao.

So far as I can tell, HP took her as an industry leader in many areas and left it a bleeding PC manufacturer trying not to die. I'm not sure I can say she didn't destroy HP, even if whatever it is now carries the same name.

After she totally fucked their hardware lines, she tried to turn them into a software services company. That isn't working so well.
