It's not "don't negotiate" though. At least, not for a vast number of Senators. They just dislike the deal. You can look at the Heritage Foundation and Brookings Institute for a general conservative criticism. They aren't saying "Let's nuke Iran!" they're saying "Wow, this deal is shit. Can't we do better?"

Alright. Let's go back further. Who's been threatening whom and over what? For that matter, who started a very ugly war right after Iran freed itself of its imperial master? Where is there a nation that has not started any wars and tried to play by the basic WMD rules in international law? What do constant external threats do for the legitimacy and direction of a regime?
Iran has done nothing significant to even be placed in a position to have to get a "deal."
