"If" it was just one system that put up multiple candidates in different "parties", then it makes perfect sense, all you have to do is put someone that people can't fucking stand against your choice, and they'll vote anyone in. Which is really the far simpler explanation than what people claim to be the truth. (edit: seriously.. no other explanation for Palin in 08)

This election is just showing me the media is controlling the voters once again. Nothing is going to change no matter who gets elected. I was really hoping people were waking up but it's the same as every election before.

People's lives are relatively comfortable to.. any time in history when people were ready to revolt. They'll do what they have to do to cling onto that comfort level.. even doublethink their way into believing the outrageous lies they're fed.
