America has been the most powerful country in the world since WW1 finished. But since WW2 and the cold war it's made the mistake of investing half its money into the military. USA thinks having 10 aircraft carriers is great. The world doesn't work like that anymore. China invests in infrastructure and education. And rather than invading a country to install a puppet government like USA does, China will invest in a country in order to gain influence. They'll build a motorway system, new port or something to get access to a cobalt mine. The USA way is to arm a rebel group and support a coup.
