Ya know OP, I always thought the whole 'South shall rise again' saying was just meme-worthy, but honestly? Right now? I mean, dude.....this could really have some real real ramifications. As in many of the Southern States can finally say 'Fuck Off D.C. We're done'. And have some kind of ruling to back it up, etc. etc, simply by the massive fraud that the Dems decided to do.
This whole thing opens a massive can of worms, and with all the Southern states in on this, this has to be opening some really really really old wounds.

While you always have people working to centralize their power into a single entity lead by themselves as a dictator, you also have others that are constantly trying to tear that entity down so they can rule over at least a smaller portion of it.
The South realized some of their mistakes after the civil war and worked hard to get military bases shift to the south and out of the north, so that's a blessing right now at least.

The South has been becoming more relevant and more economically powerful over the past ten years. The center of power is shifting as a result and these states will most likely find themselves with more say over what happens in the future. Trump is smart to ally himself with a rising power: the coasts are declining thanks to all the foreign meddling
