being a suspect is better than being indicted with damning revelation. that's the calculated risk that she took, presumably.

She wiped hard drive not because she was stupid, but because she was smart. She knows that being convicted of mishandling top-secret material would be a lot worse than just being suspected of it. It is even possible that her emails were leaked, and that leak led to Benghazi. She would be lucky to avoid jail at that point, let alone continue running for president.
[–] reed 2 points 2 points 4 points (+4|-2) ago
If that were proven, fuck jail. She'd be lucky to avoid a stoning.
[–] Acerebral 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
Exactly. So what's the smart move? Destroy the evidence, play dumb, and let people suspect? Or go to jail?
Hillary is no fool.

It'll be joe biden. They were floating his name about a month ago

That's the only person I can picture. He's an already bought politician, and has the most popularity. I can't think of anyone else. Hillary wold still be a vice President in that situation.

I think she was initially cocky because she's got a huge proportion of the vote simply because she's a woman and there are a lot of people that like to vote based on identity, just like name recognition.
But she fucked up too hard. I think the career politicians and the people pulling the strings are now trying to get her out and replace her.

Twist: Hillary is a double-agent working for Trump to ensure that he wins the presidency.
[–] Twisterz 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
And here I thought Trump was a double-agent working to help Hilary win. This is pretty deep, going to go find my tin foil hat.
[–] Imapopulistnow 1 point 1 point 2 points (+2|-1) ago
They secretly plan to join forces as a Clinton/Trump ticket. The Donald has a secret fetish and wants to be Hillary's bitch. Yep, this shit is easy to figure out.

The thinking was that the content on the server would be more damaging than the temporary uproar over erased emails. And this works so long as the Administration has your back and prevents criminal charges. Would not surprise me a bit if Obama feeds her to the lions.

There are stories that the Democratic party wants Gore to run again.

She didn't just "wipe her server," that was a shitty fucking headline on voat. What happened was that the server was "transitioned" to a new one in 2013, and the questions reside in what actually was transitioned over and what was gotten rid of during it. And of course, the old one is now blank. Everyone knows what she probably did, but as far as a legal defense, it's probably one of the smoother moves she could have made. She's not trying to tank herself, fuck this website is getting dumb.
