If I were to hazard a guess this is the basic gist of the past 4 years:
Trump decides for whatever reason to run for president
Trump attacks the press and talks about corruption as 2 of his major platform points
Corruption he thought was money laundering through clinton campaign, and other money related issues
He wins, gets into office, and now he can see everything
holyshitthisisbiggerthanmoney.jpg
Right away there are protests. A prominent republican gets shot at a baseball game. Rand paul gets beat up by a neighbour, and other various attempts at intimidation against people who would side with trump are played out.
The press is on him, his own party is voting against him, other nations scorn him.
Goes for it anyway. An internal civil war starts between the various members of various government bodies, the CIA, FBI etc as people get fired quickly and replaced with others not part of that old system.
"You have meddled in forces you do not understand, Mr. trump, and you will atone."
Events are at a head in the civil war that was internal to government but has now spilled out into the streets. BLM and Antifa activated after the impeachment failed but held off because of the wuhan flu, which basically did the same thing as the riots, which was to distract from events that are happening within government itself and preventing them from being heard by the voter to any real degree.
At the point now where everyone knows that if Trump loses he will not just lose office but everything. They will deny him permits, refuse him loans. They ill investigate him over nothing for years just to drain him of cash. Endless audits. Not just him but his children too.
Now Trump could probably have gotten out without too much damage personally if he stepped down before the election or otherwise torpedoed himself so he would lose, but he didn't.
Instead he keeps pressuring people to keep going - release the documents, sick Barr on everyone, etc.
Complain about his support for israel if you want, but trumps battle is with the vast level of corruption in his own government, and it really does look from here like hes making the attempt.
