Bernie is weak and a pushover. Apparently all you have to do is storm the stage at his events to make him change his platform. Hopefully he'll be interrupted by diehard capitalists next - then he'll stop being a socialist nutjob.

He also calls for an end to mandatory minimum sentences for non-violent offenses and bemoans the disproportionate rate at which blacks are targeted by police.

They're targeted more because, per capita, blacks literally commit more crimes.

B-but, that's racial profiling.

I like his overall policies, but he is indeed weak, just look at him: http://static.seattletimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/e0fc6412-3e27-11e5-a580-5d86ec2e3b6f-1560x930.jpg

Is that the face and stance of the leader of one of the most powerful countries in the world?

I sure wouldn't want someone like that to have to stand up to Putin, Xi Jinping, Natanyahu or the Arabs. Several of them he couldn't even look into the eye without blinking, with the others he would be afraid of being called "racist" if he ever did anything wrong. How can he be effective as a president if he can't even deal with some uppity black women in "one of the most progressive cities in the U.S." that show up to hijack his campaign? What kind of potential for conflict resolution does that show?

A president that has inhibitions standing up to Iran for fear of the media calling him "racist" is no leader at all.

What should he have done?

Step aside and be labeled "weak" or stand his ground and be labeled a "socialist dictator," who doesn't listen to the population? He's a populist so of course he's going to be sympathetic to what citizens of this country have to say. It's disingenuous to equate his treatment of his constituents to world leaders. Also, he doesn't have billions of dollars to sanitize and lock down his campaign the way most other candidates do.

His campaign revolves around the self-pitying.

I don't know if he's weak, because he can't afford to look even the slightest bit racist without dooming his campaign.
