Trump shows how immature he really is with this comment. He seriously has no clue what he's even saying. Why did Bernie not "show strength" and take back the mic from them? Because he's not a fucking idiot who would get into a verbal fight in front of a crowd of over 10,000 people all there to see him. Bernie was alpha as fuck. He just let those two idiots dig their hole in front of the whole country, patiently standing aside like you would when some dipshit kids start making a scene in the checkout line ahead of you. Yeah, you could say something, but then you'd be putting yourself on their level, and why would you do that when you're the man of the hour and they are literally nothing? Why would a mature, respected person with shit to do waste time talking at some ignorant fucks who are too angry to even accept what they were after when it was given to them? Give me a fucking break. Maybe Trump is dumb enough to follow those asshats down their angry little rabbit hole, but Bernie has some sense in his head.

Bernie was alpha as fuck.

Bernie ran away like a pussy as those protestors co-opted his event, released some weak-ass statement about how "disappointed" he was after the fact, and then hired someone from the Black Lives Matter movement as a spokesperson. He totally caved to a movement that irrationally hates him, and is now desperately trying to pander to them when the damage is already done. He's certainly not alpha, he isn't even beta - he's an omega male.

Fuck, you're even dumber than Trump! What happens when he talks back and tells the women off? Or what happens if later he blasts the women for being rude and disrespectful? He gets tarred and feathered as a racist! The whole thing was a trap from the beginning, except it didn't work because he didn't fall for it. The most you asshats can say is that "he's weak", which is a funny thing to say about a guy who openly attacks the oligarchy and its billionaire patrons that we're living under, as if they wouldn't gladly kill him like they've done before. Yeah, he's so "weak" that he has to spend his days, 15 months away from the election, speaking to mere stadiums full of supporters! Hah!

EDIT: Oh look, Trump fell for the trap even though it wasn't directed at him! And the reaction is as predictable as you'd expect: http://www.ijreview.com/2015/08/390505-donald-trump-just-called-out-blacklivesmatter-and-theyve-already-responded/

Never engage race-baiters when an election is on the line. That's why Trump is always going to be a wannabe and Bernie knew what to do from the first second. You're never going to reason with ignorant fucks. All you can do is ignore them until they go away or get distracted.

Wait, so you are telling me it's a weak move to turn your irrational enemy into rabid supporters?

I'd love to go to war against you. You sound easy to defeat.

What is he supposed to do punch them in the face, drop the mic and walk out. No, the way he handled it made the BLM protesters look like a bunch of thugs. Strengthening his position and undermining theirs. If he did do anything he would have been labeled a racist by the group. The bigger man is the one who walks away.

You think trump is really gonna do anything if that happened to him? He would just call security. Hes not gonna fight shit.

not to mention the two shits are most likely bought and paid republicans. Check out the news how the REAL BLM org made it very clear that this is a splinter group focused on violently opposing Democrats as opposd to actually concerned about BLM

The REAL BLM org doesn't matter. The REAL BLM org only has 60,000 or so followers on Facebook and Twitter, and the movement isn't even centralized.

I'm starting to think we're being astroturfed by some company Trump purchased to handle internet marketing.

There are many ways to deal with that situation. Sanders picked a shitty one.

Sorry but he has a point. How do you expect Bernie to stand up to someone like Putin if he lets some loud mouthed pieces of shit just take over? Doesn't offer any rebuttal. Does nothing. Stands there like a chump.

He looks weak. It doesn't matter what you Bernie Sanders nutriders think, in the eyes of the worlds leaders he will crumble.

World politics is nothing like the lame politics this dumbass is used to. His little sit-ins aren't going to work in a real setting.

Putin would eat Bernie's lunch. Who would you rather have conducting international diplomacy: the wimp who let a couple protestors intimidate him into abandoning his own campaign stop, or the multi-billionaire businessman who wrote The Art of the Deal?

On the other hand how is Trump's big mouth not going to get our nation into a lot of shit? Foreign policy seems like an awfully fragile thing.

Ya, that's SO much better.

I hate to say it but Trump is right. If Bernie Sanders had a tail, it would have been between his legs as his slinked off stage. Sad.

If you want an authoritarian "strong man" for president, Trump is your guy..no joke, /v/trump2016

and he's correct, Sanders did look weak, the alternative was to basically physically remove them from the venue, which would play into their efforts to poison blacks towards Sanders. Essentially engaging in the precisely the kind of over use of force the BLM people are protesting.

Trump actually beating up some #blacklivesmatters protestors on stage, with the GOP base, yeah that would clinch the nomination

Be right up there with the guy who drove his SUV through the line of Fergusson protesters

This guy should get the medal of freedom

The black vote is a myth, it doesn't fucking matter how much you pander to them the reality is you will get 2k votes on election day. He could not kick them out because he thought he was in a safe community and brought no security. He could easily save his skin and kick them out by telling the truth about BLM and their funding by George Soros, an evil Jew who sold out his fellow Jews to Nazis so he can steal their property. Letting BLM into his campaign is not only weakness, it's poison.

Not everyone is a loudmouthed imbecile using force and wealth to achieve their goals. Some people are more subtle and think before they act. Bernie came out of this a huge winner while the BLM idiots have been humiliated publicly.

Not everyone is a loudmouthed imbecile using force and wealth to achieve their goals.

Bernie is a loudmouthed imbecile who wants to use the force of the state to buy votes and support with a free shit gravy train, funded by the wealth of the taxpayer.

Bernie came out of this a huge winner while the BLM idiots have been humiliated publicly.

There are no winners here. BLM looks even more like a huge, racist joke, and Sanders looks like a weakling who would get pushed around by Russia, China, Japan and Mexico.

Bernie is certainly not loudmouthed, anyone who has followed his career can attest to that. And since I'm getting tired replying to libertarian bullshit narrative about the bad evil government and the benevolent corporations that will save society through THE HOLY healthy competition (that never really happens in a free market) I'll ignore the rest.

There are no winners here. BLM looks even more like a huge, racist joke, and Sanders looks like a weakling who would get pushed around by Russia, China, Japan and Mexico.

He might look like a weakling to conservatives. To the rest of us he looks like a rational individual that didn't want to escalate the situation, so instead he let the morons humiliate themselves.

Bernie showed that he is smart enough to pick his battles. He was faced with a no-win situation: walk away and look weak, or overpower them and look like he doesn't care about BLM.

He picked the smarter move, winning the support of BLM and a huge swath of minority support. Only those driven by pride would see him as weak, and do so at their own risk.

I will vote for the candidate who shows subtlety and prefers tact over force.

"... the disruption of the first of Sanders’ two rallies in Seattle on Saturday, when the two activists shoved aside the Vermont Senator ..."

Wasn't it an independent event that Bernie Sanders was invited to attend and speak at? What do you expect a guest at an event to do? He acted calm and collected.

edit: Yep. "An appearance by the senator from Vermont at an event celebrating the anniversary of Social Security and Medicare was scuttled after protesters from a local Black Lives Matter chapter took over the stage." https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2015/08/08/bernie-sanders-leaves-seattle-stage-after-event-disrupted-by-black-lives-matter-protesters/
