Are these knob-heads aware that the USA is actually 50 separate States, each with their own economies and their own zoning rules? You can see now that the Civil War was NOT about "slavery," it was about the shape that federalism was to take in the USA. What we wound up with thanks to the Great Traitor Lincoln is a system where the federal government produces nothing, controls everything, and shifts all the blame onto the People of the various splintered 50 States as the sheer size and unnatural diversity of this arrangement generates layer upon layer of internecine strife and hatred. We were way better off before the Civil War, with a weak federal system that allowed for at least entertaining the notion of Secession. You can't have freedom in a "country" that spans a continent and has several hundred million people in it. Because you wind up with the mess we have today.
