No, society gives two absolutes. The medical data doesn't give absolutes. Gender and Sex are both real and people identify as both sides of the dichotomy, but also as other things. Just because other things exist doesn't mean that male and female don't exist.

Bullshit. Just because there is in between doesn't mean that everything is a shade of grey in between. There are males and females. There are men and women. Both of those categories are to some extent socially constructed, gender more than sex, but that doesn't mean no one is a man or a woman.
