He can't be bought. Go figures...I bet Soros cringes a lot that he can't legally run for anything in the US!

I often argue against the pervasive effect of money in politics, but this is a strong counter-point.

If we have a strong independent on the left, and Trump as a strong independent on the right, this might turn into an interesting election. Usually a strong independent candidate just fractures one side and causes the other to win, but if both sides are fractured...?

I don't follow the democrat or republicans much but I am a strong believer in the need for increased 'third party' involvement. Unfortunately, Sanders has made it pretty clear he would not entertain such a bid. He'll defer to Clinton. I think Trump is certainly considering throwing in his luck with a 3rd party.

Now we need Ross Perot to publicly praise Trump.

... for Hillary Clinton.

Ralph, what the hell are you thinking? That's a rhetorical question: I know exactly what he's thinking: that Trump can be used.
Big mistake. Trump is really dangerous, far more dangerous than "two party tyranny," and must be stopped. This is the classic mistake when establishment leaders see fascism coming: they take it lightly. They think they can use these upstarts for their own ends.

If you actually think Trump is a fascist, you don't know what the word means.

If not, he is, at least, a xenophobic megalomaniac. He hangs out with the likes of Joe Arpaio, and if elected, I doubt he will recognize limits to his authority.

Ralph Nader sees nothing here but a chance to get his own name in the papers just like in the good old days.

Donald Trump is a breath of fresh air in terms of taking a mallet to political correctness and politic-speak, but he's also the living incarnation of Littlefinger. So upside, downsde.
[–] nomenimion 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
He's more like Robert Baratheon, but with Lannister money.
[–] JoshuaZ 1 point 1 point 2 points (+2|-1) ago
Littlefinger is substantially better at manipulating and controlling events around him and doesn't insult people just to feel better.
[–] nomenimion 3 points -2 points 1 point (+1|-3) ago
The "fresh air" goes away when you smell the bad breath of a man who believes in nothing but himself.

Ralph Nader must train very hard to be that stupid
edit: blow me you Ralph Nader lovers
