Hi, I'm @Mattvision, the head mod of /v/TPPrally.
Most of us are here on Voat for the same reason: we don't like censorship. To a lot of people outside this site, that means we're a paradise for bigots and trolls, but a quick look at the front page of Voat vs the front page of Reddit will reveal the truth about what comes of free speech.
It wasn't long after the fattening that many of us saw the issue of censorship was bigger than just making fun of fat people, when the mods of /r/news were deleting posts about the TPP, and that's just scratching the surface. As time went on, it became increasingly clear to many of us that Reddit was a platform for corporate American to shove itself down everyone's throats, and the pentagon to spread its propaganda.
On Voat, we are free from all that, which is not common among social media sites. Modern 8chan, as well as old 4chan and old Reddit are and were the only other places with this unique quality. There was activism, people cared about more than just SJW and GG drama. Cats were a way to pass time, but the real value is that those places are and were free unadulterated marketplaces of ideas, as the internet was intended to be.
With the freedom provided by 4chan, came Anonymous. With Voat, remaining as one of the few well known places on the internet to value free speech to this extent, it is up to us to utilize our free speech in the name of activism, in the name of everything we stand for as a community.
Those of you who have frequented TPPrally already know how I proposed we fight the TPP. Before we begin any actual protests, boycotts, or anything of the sort, we need to spread awareness and outrage to the rest of the internet. This is the most important part, and we can do it!
If 20 shitposters on 4chan could flood Tumblr with gore and lolicon, if some angry FPH users could shit on /r/all for 3 days nonstop, think about what we, as Voat can do! We can fight the propaganda put forward by the U.S. military to the rest of the internet. We can put issues, real issues like CISA and the TPP under the spotlight, and bring the public out of ignorance.
We were willing to spam and flood and shitpost at full capacity when an interim CEO wanted us to stop being rude to fat people. Should we not do the same when our basic rights are in Jeopardy?
This is where we prove to SJWs that we value free speech for more than just our right to be assholes. This is where we give Voat.co a legacy. This is where we take a stand against the people who want to silently fuck us with a rake, and take away our rights.
Who's with me?

No, don't think I'll be organized by anyone today, but thank you.
Interesting how the team of shitty topic-changers is conspicuously absent from this thread. Must be that big grin of yours.
