Thanks for the reply. Working towards electing Bernie Sanders would go a lot further than internet protest IMO. Protest movements like "Occupy" fail because the system is too entrenched at every level to be broken that way. The only way to enact change is to change from within the system. If Bernie ran as an independent he would have 0 chances of being elected. He's decided to use the system to get into the system - it's the only way.

I agree about Bernie Sanders, but I think using the internet to create public outrage will at least have some effect, especially during election season when politicians scramble for votes. Like you said, Bernie Sanders as president will do more than just internet protesting. Problem is, Shillary has the media in her pocket. If we create public outrage on the brokenness of the system, people will probably be more likely to vote for Sanders.

Just my take on things. It's at least worth a shot, I don't see what bad can come from it.
