I only read part of Atlas Shrugged. I read The Fountainhead in its entirety and one of the underlying premises of the book was a community leader and the media colluding to foment a collectivist uprising using the underclass.

I may agree with the overall message in Shrugged, but it's terrible written in my opinion. I never read fountainhead.

The romantic angles make my skin crawl, but I looked at it as her trying to reach women and make a book that has a little of everything in it. It is similar to how I would describe the Argentine version of “The Secret In Their Eyes”; which has elements of action, adventure, suspense, comedy and romance.
