That was the one issue that seemed valid from the video. If it's just a choice between equivalent procedures A and B, with no greater risk to the patient depending on which one they do, and performing procedure B has a better chance of collecting tissue, then it doesn't matter. The patient chose to donate tissue, after all, and all things being equal would prefer for the tissue to be usable.

However, if procedure A is in any way safer or less painful for the patient, then there should at minimum be some informed consent letting the patient know the risks and giving them the option of which procedure they want. From the video, it's not really clear there's any violation going on, but it's something PP should look into.
