My guess is, they vote (or at least announce their vote) for their own political purposes.

No doubt it is for his own political purposes, but what does Romney have to gain from this? No way he's winning the Republican nomination now. Is he just angry at Trump for investigating corruption? Maybe he's got some big skeletons in his closet from his time with Bain Capital, and this is his way of insuring the Democrats won't investigate him.

Based on both the facts and the law, voting yes in either the House or the Senate is itself an abuse of power. I expected it from most Democrats because their are the anticonstitution party. Not that I am surprised this faggot has no sense of ethics or his Constitutional duties but is going to vote based on his personal butthurt. Still, it is disappointing.

I agree. Calling for an investigation of a very corrupt politician (Biden) isn't abuse of power. They are trying to impeach Trump for doing what he is supposed to do as executive. The problem is the House and Senate police themselves. Therefore the House will never hold Pelosi accountable and the Senate will never hold Romney accountable. I hope this leads to the recall of Romney, but I won't hold my breath.
