I am a black nationalist - and I am a black nationalist for the same reason I am a white nationalist - and an Asian nationalist: people of differing cultures deserve their own self-determined destinies, not those proscribed by government.
I would rather have had a beer with Malcolm X than Martin Luther King any day - at least Malcolm X understood the power of a people's self-determination, of self-ordination and self-reliance. MLKJ insisted on casting the lot of black people with the fate of the white man, and what has been the result? Racial tensions, mutual mistrust, and suboptimal outcomes for all.
Congratulations, America - you have denied the inherent aspects of human tribalism and are now paying the many and varied prices for it. Enjoy your dystopic future, and all the while, please do remember:
this is the future you chose.
