Keep in mind the 2A is nothing but affirmation of rights we were born with. Whether it exists or not, those rights remain.

If it is eliminated, so is the pretense that our laws are just and the civil compact is broken. The law abiding no longer will.

The pretense that our laws are just and the civil compact has been broken for a long time.

Now we have to decide if we are at "Give me Liberty or Give me Death."

Have to watch out for old white guys with literally nothing to lose. If they are divorced and unemployed, there is literally no downside for them to go on a hunting rampage.

No law is just. If it is just it doesn't need to be a law.

Think of a four square chart with legal on one axis and desireable on the other.

Everything can thus be categorized as

"legal and desirable" | "not legal and desirable"

"legal and not desirable" | "not legal and not desirable"

Laws are unnecessary in the first and 4th quadrant, leaving "The Law" only to prohibit desirable things and to mandate undesirable things.

Absolutely. I live in a county that recently reaffirmed their committment to the 2A by reststing their oath because the 2A is the law of the land.

Sanctuary cities for illegals is an attempt to skirt existing law. Sanctuary cities for guns is a defensive move that negates the 2A- like you're doing something sneaky and rebellious by calling your city a sanctuary for guns. I really like that my county took the path it did in rejecting the sanctuary thing and instead restated their oaths to the constitution to assure citizens they are not down for this red flag BS.

i have to agree. anyone who actually knows all the name taking and checks and everything else that happens if you try to buy a defensive weapon in anything except a private sale knows its basically all gone.

There's no such thing as rights. Might makes right. Rights do not and cannot protect you against the government.

The second amendment merely obligates the government to respect one's inherent right to self-defense against all enemies. It doesn't create the right. It exists regardless of the existence of government. Ironically it's most threatened by government, whose propose is to protect people's rights.

If you truly believe in human rights, message @PuttItOut demanding that he stop throttling my free speech on here. If you can believe it, that cucked faggot limits me to 1 comment every 2 days all while claiming to uphold free speech. Did I fuck his mom in her ass? Yes. Did I humiliate him multiple times? Yes. Did I prove his platform breeds murderous terrorists? Yes. But these things do not mean he has the right to take away my free speech. Friends, we must stand up against his tyranny lest we all become as cucked as he.

I don't mind a forum operator doing this kind of thing to people who are basically disruptive to a forum's operation. I have no idea what you've done and I can't comment on his actions, just in principle I want the forum operator to do things like this. You can always choose another forum if you don't like how the operator silences people. To cripple yourself to having to let anyone post any amount just prevents free speech from anyone since it becomes such a mess of spam and trolls. Time to read a forum is a limited resource. Ultimately with something like this you're going to have a monarch. If he's not good then it won't be a good place regardless. If he's good, then it will work ok.

Even more important that you all realize this isnt your country anymore and your laws and rules no longer apply. You gave it away to niggers, it's theirs now.

You're an idiot. The blacks in congress are vastly in the minority. The blacks among the uber-wealthy are vastly in the minority. Come up with another term to call the subset of people who control us. The one you are using is not correct, but there is a correct one.

I wouldn't say we gave it away, but the government was hijacked and is working to destroy this place now. "We" don't control the government anymore.

No its not. The 2nd Amendment is just words on a paper. It needs to be enforced or it means absolutely nothing.

Those in power don't give two shits about the constitution. Time to take the rights back to the states. I love how we like to dissect any attempt to fight back.

[–] ShakklezthaKlown 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago  (edited ago)

the only way to fight back is civil disobedience. no paying taxes, no abiding by new gun laws. nothing until constitutional carry is implemented across the US

do you see a single person here willing to risk prison for the cause? real action, like not paying taxes, will certainly change things.

It took a lot to stir up our forefathers as well. You have to work up to what you're asking for. This election has been very good for showing people how little those in power care for us. I think we're seeing people starting to get off their couch and consider what they stand to lose by sitting idly by.

With enough 2nd amendment advocates on the Supreme Court “shall not be infringed” may take on a new meaning.
