Most bums claiming to be vets are lying for sympathy. Real vets are actually less likely to be homeless, because they aren't losers.

its also near impossible to be homeless in the city. there is PLENTY of garbage to be picked up that the city i live in pays people 25$/hour at base and only pay that high because they cant get people to stay and do it, so if you have a heart beat you are hired.

If you have ever talked to most homeless for even 5 minutes you would realize they are incapable of doing this. Mental illness and drug addiction destroys any self-worth and usefulness they have.

I admit Im leaping to conclusions, but Im willing to bet theres a reason no one wants that job. There is more to that story. There are plenty of people who would work for 25/hr for ablow responsibility job like wandering around collecting garbage. Im not disputing that the homeless are either mentally ill or Chose to be homeless. But theres a good reason they have trouble keeping people at that wage for that job description.
