Speaking of your username, what do you think of Romans 6:15-23
I couldn't get past this as a libertarian. Saved by grace, but slave to righteousness in exchange for eternal life. I think I'd rather die than be a slave, that's kind of the whole libertarian ethos.

You serve God. You try to live like Jesus. That's your imprisonment. Man lies and decieves. We build nations and civilizations through kindness, but that kindness has been taken advantage of. Being kind to people does not mean allowing yourself to get screwed. It might seem simple, but we have incredibly good morals built into us. Just don't fight out of hate, but rather with purpose. Jesus had stern words for the people like we are fighting, and so shall we.

Someone who desires Eternal Life cannot accept their humanity or what life itself actually is.
I do not desire eternal life, and while it hurts my chest to think that I'll never see my family again, both when they are gone, and when I am- That's just how life is. Life isn't cheap or easy, it sparks in a material sea of inanimate matter, chemical and energetic reactions under only the most extremely unlikely circumstances.
All we can do is cherish it as much as possible, and work tirelessly to make it the best life both for ourselves and those that come after- and then gracefully pass on back to in-animation in gratitude for having lived at all.

Christianity sees life as a curse, so you're dead on.

Slave either way. Everyone is ruled by something. Christianity is about freeing yourself from the yoke of the world and becoming perfect. You are a slave to the object which you desire, the Christian is a slave to righteousness because they are striving for it

But the definition of Christian righteousness is slavery and suicidal masochism. I understand that Christ is the embodiment of Truth and the metaphor is that Truth cannot die because God will raise it from the Dead. That I agree is the foundation of righteousness. Once Paul enters the picture, you are saved by Grace, and in gratitude you perform deeds and obey commands, but without the power of Christ to perform miracles the same way Christ promised (John 14:12-14).
There is no scientific observation that faith in Christ grants miraculous power over water, bread, disease, demons, or death. It's an embarrassment that the implication is that Christ lied or there are no true believers.
