A common theme is that many of those against Brexit are from large majority white areas. I don't know where Fry lives these days, but he's a Norwich boy, and Norwich had a predictably high White population of 90.9% in the last census. The reason of course, is that they haven't experienced the joys of mass-immigration in such areas. Try Birmingham or London, which both had a white population in the 50%-60% range in 2011. Many others having a much reduced white population and the impact it has had are one of the reasons we voted for Brexit, yes; does that make us racist? I think it makes us better placed to be able to tell you that you don't want any more of it! Now fuck off back to your comfortable areas (because they're WHITE) and stop patronising the rest of us. We voted, deal with it.

All my white ultra liberal friends are the same way. They live around white people, some in gated communities or at least high rent, and grew up middle, upper-middle class.

They have never been disadvantaged or lived in low income areas or been a minority in their schools or neighborhoods.

The push mass immigration, open borders, etc, but don't deal with it on a daily basis.

It pretty much invalidates their position.

it’s actually the opposite, white working class areas are the most pro brexit, london voted almost overwhelmingly to stay in. that is why the demonstrations against leaving are all in london and full of immigrants

Have you got some stats on that?
