Not disagreeing but I wonder... Chinese global expansionism is a relatively new idea for them. They spent ~3000 years looking inward and it's only since the 1950s they started considering life outside their boundaries. Even then in tiny steps. Culturally they don't have the experience of conquest outside their own. Logistically (like Russia) they have the big problem of long supply lines and have to rely on air transport to their new lands.

Yeah, a Chinese "empire" overseas won't last. It's oh so very impossible.

The best they will do is genocide a few million Africans, fuck up the environment, and collapse back in on themselves.
