I have a theory that popularizing circumcision was done so that (((they))) couldn't be as easily identifiable during times of mass persecutions.

It was popularized by a campaign led by Andrew Kellog (of Frosted Flakes fame) for his insane vision that allowing boys to feel sexual pleasure in the foreskin would tempt them to masturbate more. He wanted people to leave enough of their sons' penises intact so they could successfully procreate, while removing any pleasure above that level.

Interesting. I wouldn’t doubt it. They definitey didn’t do it so EVERYONE can be recognized in their religion (apparently their god identifies people as “pure” and worthy of saving by the look of their dicks)
