Macron isn't far left. He's whatever his puppeteers want him to be. It just happens to be "left" these days. If he had had better chances at becoming president by being "right", he'd have gone for that.

Thanks, I didn't know that. My point is, any position the liberals do not like is labeled in the press
as far right. It is journalistic bias. One problem, is that gradually being far right for real will be considered OK. Isn't that a danger of irresponsible journalism?

What exactly did you expect ...
Did you know the circumstances in the Weimar Republic when Hitler rose to power? It was basically communists spouting propaganda on every corner and red guards killing anyone they suspected to be "right-wing". Hitler was partly the result of leftism (besides some other obvious causes, i.e. the Versailles peace treaty).
So yeah, this is irresponsible journalism. Especially if your goal is to avoid having society go far right. The only option for them would have been to always tell the truth and to not even lie by omission. But their postmodern brains are incapable of processing the idea of an observer-independent truth.
