Everything you posted is a complete non-sequiter. Politicians don't look at your summer reading list before meeting people. And people in general don't refuse to meet with you because you have different ideals. People refuse to meet with others because they are either assholes or are just not worth their time. Calling people names and painting them into stereotypes that you have no idea if they actually fit puts you squarely in the realm of an asshole.
I am very liberal compared to most people on a lot of social issues, and my father is VERY conservative on many issues where we disagree. I have a great amount of respect for him and love having political discussions because rather than claim he is an "Trump supporting, misogynistic, Ayn Rand loving, socialist hating capitalist wants to see him lose after the primary", he gives actual facts, considers the validity of counter arguments, makes note of his opinions, and supports his reasoning on candidates with records and actual issues. Be more like that and you will have an impact on those around you.
So please don't resort to name calling and trite sterotypes. Stick to the issues. If you think that him paying less than his proposed minimum wage is hypocritical, why don't you stick to that discussion. There have already been two responses that soften the hypocritical label that you are applying, so why don't you respond to those points? Start an actual damned discussion and stop with the name calling.
