Part of religious conquest is removing the host nation's religious symbols and replacing it with your own. Notre Dame burned, the spire is gone. It will be replaced with some bullshit, ugly, "diversity" (see: 70% islamic) spire. The stained glass windows that broke will have their religious symbolism removed and be replaced with something awful. This has already happened in several cathedrals.
Muslims have a motive for attacking churches, and the government's response only encourages it. It should come as no surprise that for the last year, smaller chruchs have been constantly vandalized, and with Notre Dame it only escalated because it was left unchecked.
