Yes, they are splitting the democratic party in two and directly exposing how non-progressive the old hands like Pelosi and Feinstein are. It wouldn't be so much of an issue, but dems need new blood and new ideas for 2020... it just so happens that one of these new ideas is calling out Israel on their shit. So the dems are in a position where like half on their frontrunners, like Sanders, are Israel critics. So the old dems are somewhat forced to endorse these new progressive dems. Also something like 75% of US Jews no longer support Israel over Palestine. They've lost control of the narrative.
I think it's very exciting and hopeful for ending the status quo.
