So all existing military and defense contracts with private companies like lockheed martin will go away? Hell wasn't it today the US government and Saudi brokered a deal with lockheed for 1 billion.

The question is, will they get it done? Nobody wants to get over charged but sometimes you get what you paid for. These guys could be hacks. Do they have references? What kind of timeline are we talking here?

All that information can be found on their website. shows that they operate in 6 states and they've been in business for 60 years.

Looks like they've done big government projects before, here is one in their portfolio to the tune of $ 400 million

Nice. Hopefully they get the contract. Either way, that number is much lower than what the govt. said it would cost. Those fuckers are constantly trying to gouge us.

Lol! My friend had a very retarded english bulldog. He would hump legs with a lot of agressivness he became known as the doglegwarrior one drunken night. Somehow that became my gaming name. Now i use it because id never ever heard those three words in that combination. So ya i do have one skinny leg btw but i could jump out the gym back in the day so its ok.

$1133.13 dollars per foot, 234 miles = 8.35 percent of the USA/Mexico border.

$1100 per foot isn't a bad price. Even without the addition of a paved road at the base.

It doesn't sound like it. Have they disclosed the going rate of the current slitted fencing they're calling "wall"?

It's not $5billion, rather that's what he's asking for knowing they will short him.

Its $20billion. They paid $1billion to complete 97 miles in SanDiego and there's 1900 miles of wall needed.

The $1b was to also replace the existing wall. I'm not sure the price to build where there was nothing and if the $1.4b bid is competitive or not. Looks like this is for a section on the Rio Grande and requires a levy/wall.

Here is the company that wants to do this, and now I see how they can build it so quick. It's a good system, and they are not joking with this proposal. https://twitter.com/FisherSandG

At one time not that long ago it cost $1,000,000 per mile to build a road from start to finish. I cannot figure how it could possibly cost 5 billion to build a few hundred miles.

It's a wall not a road!

I’m assuming you’ve never seen what actually involved with building a road from start to finish.
