I was always told that you really don't know anything until you are at least 25 or older. Sounds like 25 would be a good age to be eligible to start voting. As a side note, all wars should be fought by the government leaders who start them. That will end all wars.

Up until Renaissance times, the kings of Europe led their army into battle with a sword in their hand. We need more Teddy Roosevelts in government.

That has to do with the brain fully maturing around that age. Some take longer some less time, but around 25 is a good number. The problem is that there are a lot of people who don't "get it" even after that.

I think a good number of them have never faced any sort of difficulties in their lives. To have grown up never facing adversity is frankly mind-boggling to me.
