I am only personally affected by the tax refunds myself. As for the other stuff listed I feel bad for the actual fully disabled on housing and food but the rest are now have some reason to be ambitious to find a job quickly which there are tons out there if you aren't picky and are willing to actually work.

We are talking about federal employees here. That might be a bit of a problem...

I was referring to food stamps and housing recipients mostly. Many are either working under the table parttime or just don't feel like working and the welfare state doesn't care because without them many of the welfare workers can be laid off permanently at state and national levels and they make a lot of money even the ones at the bottom just copying paperwork or handing it out.

They'll find jobs in the private sector if they are any good at all. Also we can then either phase out their old position or hire someone at a lower salary so this is progress. Hell the ones in the swamp that are stealing can now empty those secret bank accounts and spend it in the US unless they decide to go on a vacation outside the US. Maybe we can if the banks are being watched for large transfers the ones that are hoarding secret untaxed stashes of cash. This is still a plus because it's not only the directors and congress people that are thieves but also people at manager and upper management levels that can hide stolen or diverted funds. Hell Trump wants to give a huge surprise then audit all government contractors to see if they even exist in the real world or are just shell companies made to siphon off money and a lot will be Pentagon contracts that basically do nothing and paid to do that or better yet subcontractors.
