I promise you, in any way this new system is retarded, the old system has equal or greater problems. Democracy as an information is a complete failure. Just because you can understand your role in it more easily doesn't mean it works.
If I gave you a flinstone car, you would probably understand it's function pretty well and what's expected of you. It doesn't mean it's any good. Even with this improvement we are a long ways away from a functional system and in truth democracy in general is a little too ambitious. We can get a really functioning system simply by installing monarchy (But it's my opinion, that with that, microstates would be better).
