I'm still confused why Trump bowed to this judge who said he had to let Acosta back in. It's not like it was even the Supreme Court. He made a point of saying that he doesn't have to let any press in, which I'd say is correct, but ended up giving way just the same. So the whole thing I don't get.
The same thing goes for the judge who said the migrants can't be stopped. Hello, this is a matter the country has been split over for decades if not longer and cuts to the roots of the Constitution and your petty state-level ass thinks you can just decide the matter with a wave of your gavel? Absurd in extreme. Yet again Trump just lets it go. It's maddening.

Federal judges should have their authority scaled way back.

I think that judges should get punished every time their rulings are overturned.
