Children shouldn't be playing video games.
They are supposed to go outside exercise, be physically active, and study for exams.
Video games are great for retirees and men with passive income. For children, games can limit new opportunities and ruin their future.
I don't see any disadvantage for treating games like alcohol. Minimum age before you can play games makes sense. I would probably be a poor loser today if I was playing fortnite when I was a kid. I look at nephews and neighbor's kids and see them glued on screens playing fortnite it's kinda pathetic to be honest.

TV and Facebook etc. Electronics in general are no better. They all provide hits of dopamine which is why people get so cracked out on it, they are legit drug addicts. Our society has discovered how to abuse the bodies natural reward system, literal drugs, and nobody bats an eye towards it. I was raised like this and I wasted away into my teens but thankfully I knuckled down and began essentially parenting myself back to normal. I do not watch TV or play vidya at all.
However, I will allow my children to watch the occasional movie so long as I screen it and approve. It can be an art form and quite inspiring to a child's mind.

I will allow my children to undergo the occasional jewish brainwashing. I can't really think of any American movie these days that isn't cultural marxist indoctrination.

They shouldn't, I agree. But at the end of the day, it's up to their parents, not government.

Well, the thing is that there are many bad parents. Which is why "child protection services" exist in every country.
And government loves to push agendas either way, whether left or right. Like in the west the government are pushing to destroy our children with hormone replacement therapies. The way I see it, at least in China the government mostly things about "common good" for their society, often. In the west, many of the motivations boils down to "accelerating demographic replacement program" for the extinction of white race. Everything from gender fluidity, lgbt rights, feminism, mgtow, miscegenation, etc have the same goal which is to exterminate white race.
