Wow this brings back memories.Years ago there was a disaster in my area and we got cases of this water in beer cans. It was kind of a fun distraction from the shittiness of the situation.

Because the flavor of aluminum leeches into the water. It's pretty gross, but it's water. If you want to experience, go to your local general store and buy the cheapest metal water bottle you can find. Wash it 50 times, fill it with water, then take a drink. It STILL tastes like aluminum.

Aluminum taste probably matters less when you are fighting dehydration.
