Except they are fashist, they use violence, threats of violence, and censorship to gain and keep political power.

Fascists and Nazis had no need to resort to this. The Nazis even encouraged their citizens to buy weapons and ammo. Stop lying you filthy leftist animal.

I'm not a leftist. Also, nazis and fascists are not the same thing.

No they didn't. They explicitly confiscated guns and banned guns for people that they didn't like. They chose who could be armed. Just like the left in the US. Guns for people with right think and their guards. No guns for conservatives and those with wrong think. Literally what literally Hitler did.

Communists did too. So call them communists. Communism needs that negative connotation that Nazism has today.

I agree, although calling the marxists would probably be more accurate.

This is indeed how the leftists define "fascism." It isn't correct, and the hypocrisy of championing those tactics somehow never tarnishes them. We can at least refrain from echoing them, shrinking our vocabulary, or expressing disgust at nationalisms.

Then what is your definition?

[–] Hmmm 1 points 1 points (+2|-1) ago

I guess the thing that's different is that fascists are normally nationalist, and they are gobalists.

[–] sir_andy_of_bad 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

That's not what fascism is.

Okay, then what do you call a fascist when you replace in his ideology nationalism with globalism?
