How will you feel when the next administration uses this for, say, less noble causes?

Also...

Anyway: Yes, the President of the US is supposed to weather many slings and arrows. That’s their fucking job. Even in the best possible circumstance, 25% of the population would rather they were hung from a tree. They’re supposed to lead the government, not be loved by their people.

Why cant a person lead the government and be loved by the people at the same time?

The president has policies that I dont agree with but I don't think his portrayal by the media is fair or accurate

Talk about short term thinking on this one. When things eventually flip and the other "team" does it, there will be a snowflake outcry.

In the same vein, "He's supposed to sit there and take the lashing," but then is shocked when media outlets rebuke Drumpf's statements.
