Probably because while being biased is definitely enough to get you fired from a job that requires you to be unbiased, it might not be an actual crime itself.
Putting Stzok in jail for having a political opinion sounds dangerously close to the ""safe and tolerant world"" that (((they))) so badly want.
But he should def be fired, no question about it. Jailing him though, without a smoking gun, would bad precident for our Republic.
If there's a smoking gun though? Meaning, he clearly broke a law to force politics on the Republic he was entrusted to serve? Fuck him. Public hanging.

Came here to say the exact same thing. What people don't understand is that he has knowledge and could further help or influence. People have this weird satisfaction and resolution that when people get fired or something that the problem is resolved. No fool, what do you think those people will do in their free time? Buy a house, read some books, reflect on their career and go quietly into the night? Fuck no, they are out there scheming even more.
