WTF are you even talking about?! Merit in the legal profession means the mother fucker has mastered ambulance chasing.
The supreme court needs something new. Something other than a piece of shit who looks, thinks, acts, and percieves the world like every other lawyer. Make a better lawyer, get more of the same, it will just be marginally better.
There is a reason the Foundering Fathers never made prior law experience a requirement of Supreme Court picks. They could have, but they didn't. They saw the shitty British system and chose to improve on it.
It is time to start acting on that right.
Fuck established precedent. Precedent will give us more of the same bullshit that we've already seen.
