It's a simple equation imo, it's a provincial law therefore it does not represent Canada.

It's like saying the U.S.A. legalized weed because a few states have or the entire country encourages illegal immigration because California lawmakers do.

As Ontario goes, so does the rest of Canada ... except for the province that always votes for secession.

It's more than just Quebec though, there's been a lot of talk in the past about secession in the prairies also iirc, it just never materialized in a strong political movement.
