You really don't want the Feds to have even more control than they do now.
What the feds "gives", the feds take away.
Hell, a lot of folks at all levels of government can't even understand what "the people" means, or the limits that "shall not be
infringed" places on what the government is limited to.
Seeing as how various states have decided that "shall not be infringed" means "it's what ever we fell like letting the minions have",
and the Feds not doing a damn thing about it, it's pretty much a complete fuck show anyway.
So it comes down to, as it always has, what are you / we willing to actually fight for.
As in "No shit Sherlock, it about to get really fucked up!" bad.

You're asking permission for something granted as a right by the virtue of being alive.

All beings have the ability to self defense. Its just a few like us and sheep tend to not be great at enforcing it.

The constitution is the highest law in the land.

The fact that our government has gone almost completely against it means our government is illegetimate.

That said they will still arrest or shoot you for any reason or no reason at all.

So yes sadly its getting close to time to use deadly force and retake our rights from the occupying enemy force that has had our nation by the balls for the past hundred or so years.

The fix is keep your head down and build your LMOE bunker while there's still oil and electricity. Use violence for self-defense, not politics...

If you' or anyway else not licensed for CCW and decide to carry anyway, you're risking your 2A rights (5 years) to a Terry stop. A Terry stop is based on "Reasonable Suspicion" (ie, fucking nothing) and it's legal for the officer to pat you down looking for weapons. Don't leave it in your car either. K9 officers can direct their dogs to 'hit' your car, prompting a legal search, or, if it gets stolen a nigger kills someone, you're going to court murder and it will be hell, even if you prove yourself innocent.

Please be responsible and keep an eye out for violence incitement kikes. They're all over the place nowadays. You're allowed to conceal carry on your property (not your car), and when you're open carrying, 9.5/10 people don't notice it anyways.

They have been moving that way a lot faster than normal lately, but it is probably stalled now even with Kennedy gone. The first step to this was the Heller ruling that the right to bear arms is individual. Then McDonald incorporated that right against states and cities. Finally Caetano decided that the 2nd Amendment applied to weapons that did not exist at the founding. That definitely sets the stage for more rights clarifications. The bad news is that they are probably going to sit this out for a bit and see how the states react.

I’ve been thinking about this for the last couple days. I think the answer is yes, they could pass a law and do this. But it is a fairly complex problem. I kept coming up with arguments both for and against it given the interactions of Art I Section 8, Art IV Sec 2, Art VI of the Constitution, the 2nd Amendment and the 14th Amendment. But overall, I think between the powers Congress has regarding a militia, the incorporation of the 2nd Amendment to the States under the 14th Amendment and the equal protection clause of the 14th A,endment, Congress could do what you suggest.
